Mon Coup de Coeur
I love bows in my hair; up like Minnie or casually down… black satin, yellow satin or with gold loulous… they remind me of my 4months in South America

Buenos Aires or the city where my heart is …

When you first mention the city Buenos Aires, people directly link it to those little colored houses in La Boca, and then to Tango. When you image-google Buenos Aires you will see a very westernized metropolitan area that has the largest avenue in the world (Avenida 9 de Julio). Which is quite shocking considering people still name it the capital of a 3rd world country.

It is only after you’ve seen it and lived in it that you can truly describe this city, this devilish city that captures your heart and just won’t let go.

This city that has modernized so many parts of it but has kept this South American feel that made it the second most desirable city to visit, after Florence, in 2008.

This city that is made up of so many different areas; you would think you’re in Paris on one of Recoleta streets, jumping off to a New York-ish avenue in the centre to finish at a traditional Argentinian market in San Telmo or Plaza Cerrano. ¡que linda!

A city that makes you fall in love, that offers you the chance to be part of something bigger, of a dream: the South American dream as it makes you visit another city that you start loving and then another country, another culture, other people… and you grow with it and South America starts growing on you…

No puedo lo describir en un post porque esta una historia romántica

A romance between this city and myself… A romance i had to put an end to due to circumstances: life, reality…
